The fine print, unfine

Privacy

What we collect, what we never do with it, and how to delete all of it.

What we collect

If you create an account: your email address (to sign you in), a display name (what other players see), and your birth year — the year only, never a full date of birth — because Bullpen requires players to be 13 or older. Alongside that we keep your game data: runs, XP, badges, and portfolio history, so your progress follows your account.

If you play as a guest, none of that leaves your browser — progress lives in your device's local storage and we never see it.

What we never do

  • No ads, and no ad tracking.
  • No selling or sharing your data with anyone.
  • No real money. Bullpen has no brokerage connections, no payments inside the game, and no way to trade real securities — every portfolio is virtual.
  • No full date of birth, no address, no phone number — we never ask.

Cookies and sign-in

Signed-in play uses one session cookie so we know it's you. Signing in with Google shares only your email with us; signing in by email link involves no password at all. There are no third-party analytics or marketing cookies.

Deleting your account

Go to your account page and choose Delete account. That one action permanently removes everything at once — your login, email, display name, birth year, and all game data (runs, XP, badges, portfolios, report history). There is no soft-delete and no retention window; when it's gone, it's gone.
